Have you ever been so touched by a book you read or a film you have seen lately?
Compassion may have arisen through that.

As you know, the concepts of compassion and self-compassion have started to be talked about frequently all over the world in recent years. Training courses have been offered. Studies were conducted on which practices and teachings from Buddhist psychology formed the basis. We started to hear it everywhere. Why is it so popular? Although university teachers or doctors who have worked hard in this field strive to properly practice and understand compassion, the subject has turned into a personal development material.

How did this happen?

A perception emerged that self-compassion is achieved by taking care of oneself, trying to love oneself, and implementing regular practices.

“If I follow my regular morning practices, meditate, use a gentle and soft tone of voice towards myself, and do not judge, I am being compassionate towards myself…”

Partly true, like many other things…

Let us look at compassion from another perspective and talk about it.

Finally, we shall do Protected content on compassion.

With the help of the questions below, let us gather the takeaways from this session.

How did this conversation affect me?

What can I do differently in the future?
Looking forward to seeing you all!
