One Last Day by the Sea

Castiglioncelllo is waiting for us!

Autumn is here… but the sea is not ready to say goodbye.

Before the golden light of summer completely fades, let’s enjoy one last beautiful day by the sea together in the charming coastal town of Castiglioncello, just a short train ride from Florence.

We’ll meet at Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station and take the 8:28 AM train to Castiglioncello.

It’s the perfect opportunity to spend a relaxed day together, meet new people, chat, walk along the coast, swim if the weather invites us, or simply lie in the sun and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany in October.

🍽️ LUNCH

For lunch, everyone is free to choose what suits them best.

We can have lunch together in one of the local seafood restaurants, enjoying fresh fish and the flavours of the Tuscan coast.

Or, for something simpler and more spontaneous, there are also small kiosks and cafés where you can grab a schiacciata, sandwich or something quick — there are options for every taste and budget.

The idea is to keep the day easy, relaxed and completely flexible.

RETURN TO FLORENCE

The planned return train is at 6:06 PM, arriving back in Florence in the evening.

However, there are other trains during the afternoon, so you are absolutely free to return to Florence earlier if you prefer.

There is no fixed schedule once we arrive: come for the whole day or stay only as long as you like.
