Summertime Festival

Summertime Festival again this year with summer music programming in the field of jazz and world music. The great diversity of styles and cultures, allowing some room for salsa, bossanova, merengue, tango and many more styles originating in Latin America.

If you've signed up and your plans have changed, please remove yourself from the attendee list. I'm not taking attendance or keeping score—I simply trust everyone to be considerate of each other's time and of the effort that goes into organizing these events.

General information

Meeting point: Protected content
Meeting time: 13:45–14:00. At 14:00 sharp we'll head over to the Tango Extremo concert together. Before the concert there's also an open tango workshop from 13:15 to 13:45 for anyone who arrives early and feels like warming up.

I'll be available by phone until 14:30 if anyone has trouble finding the group. After that, I'll be putting my phone away and will simply be enjoying the festival with everyone who's there.

If live tango isn't entirely your thing, no worries, Grote Markt is full of cafés and terraces, and there will be more live performances throughout the day ( Protected content ), so there's plenty to enjoy.
