Ticino +3.5 degrees: Climate scenarios and adaptation measures
Ticino +3,5 gradi: Scenari climatici e misure di adattamento
(Ticino +3.5 degrees: Climate scenarios and adaptation measures, Presentations and discussion is in Italian language)
The climate is changing, even in Ticino. The year Protected content a new national temperature record, saw an extreme summer drought and abundant autumn rainfall. What we see today as an exceptional year, tomorrow could be a "normal" year. The CH Protected content scenarios, which were developed as a priority theme within the NCCS (National Center for Climate Services), describe Switzerland's future climate through numbers and graphs. In Protected content , the facts showed that everyone could see for themselves what the climate of the future might be like.
The CH Protected content scenarios, available at Protected content , form the basis for taking the necessary measures to manage the now inevitable changes and show how successful climate protection action can contribute to mitigating, at least partially, the expected impacts in the Alpine region. The measures to be implemented by the cantons and municipalities on the basis of what has already been achieved in recent years are therefore based on them.
The CH Protected content scenarios will be at the centre of the event organised by the Canton of Ticino and MeteoSwiss at the Protected content on the afternoon of 12 February. Two main moments: an informative afternoon dedicated to experts in the field, in which everyone can still participate, starting at 3 p.m., and a public evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. To participate in the afternoon you must announce yourself by writing to Protected content
