Mount Dobongsan, located in the northeast of Bukhansan National Park, is designed for its beautiful rocks located at the Manjangbong, Seoninbong, Jubong, Obong and Uiam peaks. Seoninbong summit has 37 hiking trails, including the famous Bakjwi Trail.
The mountain is also home to Cheonchuksa Temple, the oldest temple in the region, and several other temples including Mangwolsa and Hoaryongsa, as well as many beautiful valleys such as Donong, Songchu, Obong and Yeongeocheon. The mountain is also easily accessible by public transport.
Comfortable Hiking Boots: The trails can be rocky and uneven, so sturdy footwear is a must.

Water: Stay hydrated—bring at least 1 liter of water
Food/snacks: Pic nic planned at the top. Light snacks like nuts or energy bars will keep your energy up throughout the hike.
Sunscreen: The sun can be intense, so don’t forget your sunscreen.
Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress in layers, especially if you’re hiking to a higher altitude where the temperature can drop.
Camera: You’ll want to capture the stunning views, so don’t forget your camera or smartphone.
