The Protected content Lantern Festival (Yeondeunghoe) in Seoul is scheduled for May 16–17, Protected content , featuring a grand lantern parade along Jongno Street, cultural performances, and traditional lantern exhibitions. This UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage event celebrates Buddha's Birthday with highlights on May 16, including the Eoulim Madang (Cheer Rally) and the main Lantern Parade.
