Dresden Sightseing With Locals
Dear members,
InterNations Dresden invited us for a sightseeing through their home city.
Dresden is the capital of Saxony with an impressive city centre with “Semper Oper, Zwinger, Frauenkirche, Schloßkirche und Schloß“, along the river Elbe and certainly a hot spot for tourists.
Certainly we’ll be guided through “secret”” alleys and areas off the beaten tracks.
We'll meet at 7:45 at platform 21 at the Leipzig Main Station in order to catch the 8:00 train RE 50. We'll arrive in Dresden at 9:29
Our guide, a InterNations Member, promised plenty of sights with respective stories and city tour (no tram or bus planned) of about 10 to 15 km….from morning to afternoon, an easy going time in, including unique places e.g. Pfunds Molkerei
We’ll have plenty of opportunities for coffee breaks, a proper lunch even dinner for those who don’t a late train back (or even to stay for the night).
