This Season's Opening of Ladekaia

Ladekaia is situated by “Ladestien”, a popular path that runs along the fjord of Trondheim. It starts in the neighbourhood of E.C. Dahls and goes all the way to Ranheim. It’s a lovely place to stop during a walk to have a cup of coffee, tea, a piece of cake or have a meal.

In the “worst” winter months Ladekaia is closed, but it opens again on Saturday the 23rd, and I’m going there to enjoy their very lovely chocolate brownie and a cup of tea. Anybody want to join?

We’re walking from the Research Centre of Equinor at Rotvoll, meeting in the car park at noon. The walk takes approximately 45 minutes. For those who want a shorter walk, you can join in at Sponhuset, or even park in Leiv Eriksson’s veg, just a few minutes from the restaurant.

Dogs are allowed outside and inside one part of the restaurant( warm clothes are recommended as there isn’t any heating in that part.)
