🎦 Welcome to our 9th meeting of Cinema Club

We’re going to discuss Beautiful Boy is a biographical drama film starring Steve Carell, Timothée Chalamet, Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan. The film covers a substantial portion of Nic's life ( Chalamet ) and deals with the elder Sheff's (Carell) struggles of how to respond to a son whom he loves but who is also a danger to his family. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised the performances of Carell and Chalamet. For his work, Chalamet earned nominations at the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, BAFTA Awards and Critics’ Choice Awards.
