Coffee at a Historic Coffee House
Protected content is the last traditional Greek coffee house in Molenbeek. I became acquainted with the café through a documentary screened a few months ago at the Communaute Hellenique Bruxelles. In this documentary the touching story of Mr. Pavlos, its current owner, blended wonderfully with the story of Greek immigration in Belgium. The café was a meeting place of those workers and those from many other ethnic backgrounds since its opening in Protected content . The place is a living testament from those days, as it hasn't changed much during the decades that passed. And Mr. Pavlos, now 78, is always happy to mingle with the customers and tell his story!
