Springtime Picnic
The weather seems pretty settled at the moment, so let’s take advantage with another outdoor activity. And what could be nicer than a picnic in the park? This time let’s visit Parque de São Roque.
São Roque is one of the smaller, lesser-known parks of Porto, but it is varied and interesting, with its own unique character. There is plenty to see and photograph; the attractions include terraces, formal gardens, collections of Camelias, fountains and water features, a maze, the Art Deco Casa de São Roque and superb views over the Douro and Estadio do Dragão. Also, there are picnic tables!
Bring some food and drink and positive vibes!
Meet at the main entrance of Campanhã train station, and then we will catch the metro to Estadio do Dragão, and from there walk to the parque (about 500m).
