Sephardica - Alcázar Nights Concerts
We are thrilled to welcome Sephardica back for another year to enjoy their wonderful performance in an unbeatable setting like the Gardens of the Real Alcázar of Seville. Tickets are available online starting the Monday of the week prior to the performance.
Sephardica is composed of musicians specializing in the study, recovery, and performance of historical music and period instruments, with a primary focus on the 11th through 16th centuries. Their work is rooted in rigorous musicological research aimed at bringing ancient sounds back to life on stage with authenticity and sensitivity.
Sephardica’s central mission is to preserve and revitalize historical musical heritage, adapting it for contemporary audiences while maintaining its core essence. In doing so, they bridge the gap between eras, creating an intimate, evocative connection with modern listeners.
With over twelve years of performing together, the ensemble has established an active concert career across Spain and Europe. Their medieval music performances stand out for their multidisciplinary approach, blending theater, storytelling, and a remarkably rich palette of instrumental tone colors.
Sephardica has brought its signature style—infused with the unmistakable soul and duende of Andalusia—to stage venues around the world.
