InterNations Thessaloniki community proposes you a unique gastronomic walk in the historical center of Thessaloniki, where taste meets history.
We start at the café "Hamam" (Fragkini 9, Louloudadika), learning the history of coffee and Turkish delight.
We continue at the legendary bougatsa "Serraiko" for sweet and savory bougatsa and its history.
Next stop is the herbalist's shop "Pigi", with a discussion about herbs and essential oils.
We pass by Kapani for olives and continue with a tasting of ouzo and tsipouro.
At the historic spice shop "Kardamo", we learn about the five most precious spices of the old era.
Our walk ends at the "Saloumeria", in the Ancient Agora, with tsipouro and a small plate of exquisite delicacies of Greek cuisine.
An experience full of aromas, flavors and stories of Thessaloniki that is worth living together.
