Around the Monte Dei Cappuccini

Time for a new tour, to discover another corner of Turin.

This time our attention will be focused on the XIX Century district on the right side of the Po (just at the base of the hill), learning a bit of history about the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I (the most historical one in Turin), the Gran Madre (symbol of the Restoration in Turin), via Monferrato (the “trendiest” street in town, Protected content , ending up in the Monte dei Cappuccini, with its stunning view, even more suggestive around 17.30, when it gets darker and they switch on the Luci d’Artista.

Please be aware that we will walk to there, a walk on regular roads (no hiking!!!), but anyway uphill.
