If anyone hasn't made plans for Easter yet, would you like to head east one more time? After visiting Carinthia 6 years ago and being impressed by its lakes, castles and hot springs, the time may be right to head back to the southernmost Austrian region.

Main goal this time will be Lake Millstatt, which boasts an ancient abbey, the deepest lake in the region and some impressive hikes, like Protected content

If it's sunny, we might also consider having a walk by the Wörthersee.
Should the weather forecast not be favourable, we can switch to having a day trip to the city of Graz, that's part of Unesco heritage. Also, unfavourable weather might actually increase the chance of finding those seasonal hot thermal pools, that sometimes exist and sometimes don't.

As for where to stay, we'll be based in Villach, as the city is well served both by train and bus.

The rough program (as usual, the weather will have the last say!):

- March 30th Portogruaro or Cervignano + Villach
- March 31st Millstatt Lake + Wörthersee
- April 1st Klagenfurt or Graz
- April 2nd Villach/Udine

Once we're in Austria, we can travel using the "einfach raus" ticket, that makes travelling quite convenient
As usual, depending on where you are and how much holiday you have, feel free to come for Protected content 4 days! (although, given the distance, 2 days are the minimum, if you're coming from Padova/Venice)
