Female Angels
The periodic group exhibition "Female Angels" at the Museum - "House of Elytis" focuses on the female presence and the young girl, featuring paintings and collages by Odysseus Elytis and his artist friends. The display is complemented by manuscripts, photographs, documents, and books from the poet's personal collection. The exhibition attempts to highlight the vital female element in Elytis's work as an archetypal symbol of strength and recreation. The exhibits come from prominent collections and institutions.
