Be part of VPL’s monthly concert series Staircase Sounds, which continues with the lively sound of Guardia Nueva, a local group that specializes in Argentine tango music!
Guardia Nueva is a captivating tango band that redefines the traditional genre through their innovative arrangements and dynamic performances. The quartet’s interpretations captivate audiences through seamlessly fusing the heart and soul of tango, its rhythmic energy and enchanting melody, with contemporary harmonies.
Guardia Nueva’s debut album, Buenos Aires Protected content garnered critical acclaim for its audacious reinventions of tango standards.
