Ballroom for Beginners

A new venture for Prague Internations, learn to dance like they do on Showdance and Strictly, burn the floor in style, and acquire a skill to last a lifetime.

Discover the grace and elegance of Ballroom and Latin American dances in the beautiful Marble Hall of Lucerna Palac in central Prague. Exclusively for members of Internations, a professional dance teacher will guide us through the basics of Waltz, Cha cha, Blues and Quickstep (in Czechia they call it Foxtrot) and will have us moving around the room in no time.

This brand new class is aimed at COMPLETE BEGINNERS. No dancing experience is required. COME ON YOUR OWN or with friends NO PARTNER REQUIRED. The dances will be taught rotating partners, so all the gentlemen will dance in turn with all the ladies.

A fee (to be determined) will be charged on the door sufficient to cover costs of the hall and the tuition but as a special inducement our wonderful teacher Pavel has agreed to do the CLASS ON WED 25TH MARCH FOR FREE! (donation voluntary).

As the term progresses other ballroom and Latin dances will be brought into the repertoire, such as Tango, Rumba, Polka, Samba, Viennese Waltz.

Please indicate attendance asap. Dress: tidy casual and comfortable, clean shoes please.
