Thinking through Art #5
Josef Sudek - Vision Slowed Down
A small-group visit to the Josef Sudek Photo Studio exploring how Sudek transformed ordinary places, light, and everyday moments into art through sustained attention.
Core question:
Do we fail to see the world because it is ordinary — or because we look too quickly?
In other words:
•What begins to appear when we slow down and pay attention?
•How does attention shape perception?
•What are we missing in places we think we already know?
Followed by a discussion over coffee. ☕️
