***Pushed back 1 hour to 11am due to short duration of walk, daily light savings, timing to go to the pub and much needed sleep in time ;-) Any more excuses?! ***

Let's escape the city yet again and try the wonderful lush Protected content Track walk. The trail passes through temperate rainforest which is lush with ferns and and ancient myrtles.

The Toolangi State Forest region in southern Australia extends from Mount Monda in the south up to Murrindindi in the north and includes the township of Toolangi. The forest is mainly Eucalypt forest that has regrown from the Protected content Bushfires. Large sections of the forest were also burnt in the Protected content Bushfires, although there are some pockets of old-growth forest that have not been logged or seriously burnt.

Let's meet Protected content Only rsvp if you hve a reasonable fitness and are willing to keep pace with the group.

Bring at least 2 litres of water, lunch and snacks. Also dress appropriately with proper walking boots or shoes. Also bring a rain jacket and some warm clothing. Will provide a weather update closer to the time. Also, We will organise car pooling closer to the time.

After the walk we can head to Healesville or one of the local towns for some drinks and a much deserved dinner.

Thanks everyone. Get your walking shoes ON! :)
See you at the walk! :) :)
