Wildlife Photographer of the Year
Hi all!
Let’s go to visit the most prestigious naturalistic photography exhibition of the world, now at its 61st contest!
We’ll join a guided tour. Marco Colombo, a highly trained naturalist, winner of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year in Protected content , Protected content 2018, will lead us to explain 30 photos shown, with technical and naturalistic details. The tour will last around 45 minutes, then, we can enjoy photos by ourselves.
The images, awarded by the London Museum of Natural History - come from 96 Countries. Almost 50.000 shots, Protected content were chosen, by an international jury of experts - for creativity, artistic value, and technical complexity.
Among the categories: Portraits of Animals, Birds, Amphibians and Reptiles, Mammals, Animals in their environment, Plants and Mushrooms, Underwater.
The captions and texts tell both the technical details of photos and the history and emotions that motivated the author in the shooting.
