This activity is at your own risk and you alone are responsible for your own health and safety. This may be rescheduled due to bad weather forecast but I will let you know in advance.

We will head from Ramsgate to Margate 15.7 KM and stop for lunch at Broadstairs.

We will catch Fast Train the 10:09 Train from London St Pancras to Ramsgate

Romans, Saints and Saxons landed here, artists and writers drew inspiration here, so join our hike and discover why visitors have been coming to the Isle of Thanet for centuries! The endpoint is Margate a grand seaside town with a fantastic beach.

Unlike many coastal paths, this route is almost entirely flat, with none of the ups and downs you can find elsewhere, so it’s pretty easy going.

The coastal scenery is often strikingly beautiful and is a reminder that while the White Cliffs of Dover hog the headlines and the wartime melodies, the same stirring geology runs unbroken along this coastline.

Highlights:

Admire St Augustine’s Cross which marks a piece of ancient local legend; it`s said that this is the spot where St Augustine met with King Ethelbert nearly 1,500 years ago and where the first mass was held.
Explore the landscape that inspired Charles Dickens & Visit his house

We will stop towards the end of the hike at Protected content for a drink and a bite to eat
