Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed (Spanish: Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados) is a Protected content comedy-drama film written and directed by David Trueba, and starring Javier Cámara. The film's title comes from a lyric in the song "Strawberry Fields Forever", from the Beatles.
The film won six Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Writing and Best Leading Actor. It was selected as the Spanish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.
It is Protected content Albacete, an English teacher and die-hard Beatles fan Antonio (played by Javier Cámara) decides to go on a road trip to Almería in the hope of meeting John Lennon, who is shooting How I Won the War there under the direction of Richard Lester. On the way he picks up two hitch-hikers, Juanjo (Francesc Colomer) and Belén (Natalia de Molina), and the unlikely trio follow their dreams and look for their own freedom.

The title of the film comes from the lyrics of the song Strawberry Fields Forever. The film contains, in addition to the images created for the film itself, others from the Beatles and Lennon archives in Almería.
The plot is inspired by the true story of Juan Carrión Gañán, a professor of English who traveled to Almería in Protected content . Professor who used Beatles songs to teach English to his students. At that time John Lennon was in the Andalusian city to participate in one film.
