The film-maker Renato De Maria wins his personal bet with a very unfaithful and vital biography of one of the greatest musicians in the history of Italy. The merit is both of a screenplay that extrapolates the essence of the artist without hagiographies and of a protagonist, Dario Aita, capable of being his character, not a simple imitation. De Maria's complex work reconstructs the artist's life from the seventies to the death of his beloved mother Grazia, in Protected content , avoiding taking the path of a documentary.
