Winter Intermediate level Hike & Photography

This is an intermediate level winter hike in a beautiful place offering numerous nature photography opportunities.
The hike is 2 to 3 hours long, in a snow covered trail.

This mountain resort (Au Diable Vert) offers many trails with one of the best views of the Green Mountains in Vermont and the Missisquoi River Valley.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Warm cloth and boots
GEAR: You may bring your own gear or RENT one at the resort
Two options:
• Hok Skiing (25$/3 hours)
•Snowshoeing (10$/day)

•You can also use backcountry/touring skis (not available to rent at the resort)

What are Backcountry/touring skis?

What are Hok skis?

Regular Cross country skis will not be good, as you need very well maintained trails to practice this.
Nordic skis (wider that cross country should be ok)

Make sure to be DRESS APPROPRIATELY and have some WATER or SNACKS with you.

The resort is about 2 hours away from Montreal downtown.

AFTER THE ACTIVITY, I propose to go for drinks and food in the nearby village of Sutton.

For those interested, you can stay overnight. Cabins for rent.

Activity will be rescheduled in case of poor weather conditions.
