Dating a German: Get Success or Die Trying

Have you ever wondered why dating a German can feel like an Olympic challenge?
Between the famous “punctual even when falling in love,” the sense of humor that sometimes needs Google Translate, and the eternal dilemma of whether “this is a date or just a friendly beer,” many expats feel like we need a user manual.
At this event, I want to invite you to laugh together, share stories (yes, including the fails!, and most importantly, reflect on how we can build a healthier and more authentic social life in Germany—even if our first dates sometimes feel like cultural marathons.
What to expect:
Fun (and very real) stories about what it means to date a German.
Jokes, lighthearted criticism, and practical tips to navigate cultural differences.
Open conversation: you’ll also get to share your own experiences (the good ones… and the “never again” ones).
Reflections on how expats can create a balanced and fulfilling social life in Germany, beyond just dating.
Because falling in love in another language is a challenge… but building a healthy social life is a choice.
Best Regards,
