From 13 September to 4 October Protected content , British artist Luke Jerram’s seven-metre-wide illuminated Earth is suspended beneath the dome of the Christuskirche Mainz.
It uses detailed NASA imagery, so standing underneath it gives you the feeling of seeing Earth from space.
Entrance free of charge.
