Sin, Pray, Love... at the Museum

Come and join us for this art "treasure hunt" of ideas about the three Mary personalities that conflated to become Mary Magdalen, as explored through the imagery and semiotics that this composite figure inspired over the centuries.

Over Protected content , sculptures and prints spanning the Middle Ages to the present are brought together, including major loans — five works from London, Washington, New York and the Vatican.

As there is very likely to be a long queue outside the door, and we have only an hour, please don't hang about waiting outside the exhibition to meet! Just enjoy the rich visual feast of artworks, and we can meet up in and around the exhibits!
