The panorama hike at Fürenalp ( Protected content ) traverses the mountain, leading to a roaring waterfall. Then you follow the river down into the beautiful Engelberg valley, with many mountain peaks in view and a lot of waterfalls.

The Hike starts by taking the cable car from Furenalp cable car station to the mountain station (Fr14) walking to Stauber waterfall and turning right and going down back to the parking cable station.

By Car:

It takes 1:30 Hr from Zurich and the address is:
Wasserfallstrasse 222, Protected content (Fürenalp Bahn)

By Train:

Zurich HB at 8:07 to Engelberg Furenalpbahn 10:15

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN INTERRUPTION BETWEEN Stansstad and Engelberg bahnhof which is replaced by a bus.
