Jazz in the Vineyard

Dear Vienna Enjoyers,

Let's go back to the magic place on the outskirts of Vienna, where good food and good wine are served and music is played on a lovely terrace by the vineyard.

Let your steps or wheels take you up the old Stammersdorf wine cellar street to Senderstraße parkplatz, then three hundred meters along the hiking path. We will be playing there at this wonderful heuriger called Weinhandwerk.

Florian Tuchacek on drums, Thomas Reimer on bass and Thomas Nothbauer on saxophone will join me for a multicultural journey of Jazz, Chansons, Latin and Gipsy tunes.

Vera and Martin from Weinhandwerk serve their own wine, organic and quite good I must say, and delicious food seasoned with wild herbs.

To reach Weinhandwerk, take the S1 or the S2 from Landstraße Wien-Mitte to Siemenstrasse Bahnhof, then bus 30A to Freiheitsplatz in Stammersdorf, then walk up the picturesque Kellergasse to Senderstraße parkplatz. You can also take bus Protected content Florisdorf Station to the Parkplatz, or park there if you come by car.

The place is idyllic and well worth the journey.
