For your own safety, hiking boots are highly recommended.
1. Brief Activity details: This is an intermediate hike
a. Total hiking distance: 12 km / 8 miles
b. Total hiking time: Protected content (plus Protected content for breaks and lunch)
c. Lunch: Make sure to bring enough water and something to eat.

2. Meeting Point:
a. McDonald's (Champlain, NY Protected content , Champlain, NY Protected content 8:45 AM.
b. We will take off sharply at 9:00 AM to the Mountain Firetower trailhead. Therefore make sure to be on time.

3. After the ride, we will stop somewhere in Plattsburgh, NY for a drink.

Hiking SAFE is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. You are responsible for yourself, so BE PREPARED. And We will BE PRESENT to Help You and to MAKE SURE YOU ARE ENJOYING the hike.
