Treat yourself to a Sunday evening of live jazz and Italian style dining with The Richard Haka Ensemble brings the sound world of the seventeenth century into a contemporary musical setting.
Featuring Itai Weissman alongside historical flautist Kate Clark, harpist Sarah Brink Nielsen, and storyteller Sahand Sahebdivani, the ensemble centres around the remarkable Richard Haka flute and the musical culture surrounding it.
Combining historical performance, improvisation, electronic sound, and storytelling, the group explores how the voice of a centuries-old instrument can be rediscovered and transformed into new music for today.
