Cinema Politica: the Wind's Thirst
Montreal Premiere of THE WIND’S THIRST with director Alejandro Valbuena in attendance.
The film is about the reckoning between indigenous sovereignty and corporate renewable energy in La Guajira desert of Colombia, where three Wayuu guardians rally against wind farms built without consent on sacred burial grounds.
NOTE: The screening is at 7 pm. We will meet 30 minutes before to chat and get to know each other.
