Picasso and Klee in the Heinz Berggruen Collection
The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum presents a selection of fifty masterpieces by Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee that belonged to the German art dealer and collector Heinz Berggruen and are now part of the collection of the Museum Berggruen in Berlin.
Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee, two seemingly disparate personalities, yet with some similarities. From Klee's introspective, spiritual, and intellectual gaze and his literary and musical tastes to Picasso's Mediterranean, earthy, excessive, and sensual nature. Both were united by their constant experimentation in their approach to the world. The works on display teach us to appreciate detail, the small scale they mastered, along with drawing, in a unique vision.

Afterward, we'll go to a nearby bar for drinks, tapas, and to discuss our experiences with the exhibition and socialize, kicking off the weekend.
