Anders Zorn was the most prominent Swedish painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He achieved international fame as a portraitist of kings, politicians and other celebrities of his time.
The exhibition presents a complete overview of his work.
It includes his Spanish production, with works from Seville, Cádiz and Granada, and other pieces that testify to his friendship with Joaquín Sorolla or Ramón Casas.
Zorn was internationally recognized for his impressionistic mastery of capturing light, water and the human figure with energetic brushstrokes. He stands out for his masterful portraits, the engraving technique and the creation of the "Zorn Palette"
Afterward, we'll go to a nearby bar for drinks, tapas, and to discuss our experiences with the tertulia and socialize.
