Exhibition About the Warsaw Uprising in All Its Complexity

Hi all,
Let's visit together an exhibition of the Museum of the Warsaw Uprising / Protected content . It shows the dramatic fate of Warsaw - a city that was affected by the brutality of the German extermination machinery like no other during the Second World War.
"We Wanted to Be Free and We Owed This Freedom to Ourselves" September 1, Protected content , Warsaw. From the speech by Jan Stanisław Jankowski, delegate of the London government-in-exile in the country and Deputy Prime Minister “Soból”.
The exhibition begins with a presentation of Warsaw in the pre-war period; the following sections show occupied Warsaw - the German policy towards the Polish population, including its Jewish fellow citizens, the decisions made in the Nazi state, the street terror, the creation of the ghetto, the living conditions and the cultural activities that developed under extreme conditions.
Warsaw is also presented as the capital of the Polish underground state, its structures, administration, media, education, Żegota (Polish Council for the Support of Jews, the only state organization of its kind in Europe during the Second World War).
