Franz Schubert ( Protected content ), an Austrian composer of the Romantic era, left an impressive musical legacy at the age of only 31, which includes important song compositions, symphonies as well as his remarkable piano music.
His piano works are characterized by a captivating expressiveness, powerful emotions and delicate balance between demanding technical demands and heartfelt melody that had a major influence on piano music of the 19th century and beyond.

The tradition of house concerts is a form of musical performance in which music is performed in private apartments or homes. This cultural practice has a long history, becoming popular in different cultures and societies over time, dating back to the 17th century and reaching its peak in the Romantic period.
Originally, house concerts were often the preferred format for premieres of musical works. Some of the now immortal works were first performed in a salon, in a private house or apartment.
