Wednesday Concert - Annie Taylor (CH) and Support
Annie Taylor (CH) - support: Blind Spell
The songs simply had to come out. Annie Taylor recorded their third album—titled *Out of Scale*—in the midst of a US tour and a series of European concerts; the record is defined by intense emotions, chaotic relationships, and big dreams.
At times, singer Gini Jungi sounds pained, wounded, and defiant; at others, her voice soars longingly over Tobias Arn’s guitar lines. And when Michael Mutter’s bass and Daniel Bachmann’s drums kick in, it is clear that every one of these new songs has the power to get the audience dancing.
The band—who met at a bar in the Swiss mountains after a day of snowboarding—are renowned for their live shows and have already performed at SXSW, the iconic Seattle radio station KEXP, Austin’s Levitation Festival, The Great Escape, and the Reeperbahn Festival.
