All Saints Day Dinner on 4 continents + Sunset & Candles
Good morning! It’s Halloween + All Saints Day weekend, and many of us are stuck in quarantine. Yuk! We should meet online to make the weekend right. Lets have dinner together, and dream of faraway places.
Yesterday, we caught up with friends on three continents, and shared a few experiences. Let’s continue!
If you don’t cook, then Order in.
Do you have Halloween costumes that you want to show off? Wear them, or show us photos of your Saturday night madness. I’m going to show you how to make an easy salad dressing from what you have in your kitchen cabinet, and Micayla will take a walk around Vienna to show us the candles that they put out for All Saints Day. It’s a beautiful tradition. The custom of lighting candles on family graves is practised by Catholic families in several nations, and anyone passing a cemetery in Sweden and Austria this weekend is met by some beautiful scenes.
Lets enjoy a beautiful Parisienne sunset too, if somebody joins with a nice view.
Point your phone camera at your plate, outside your window, or go have a sunset picnic at the Seine, or near le Tour Eiffel (or wherever you are). I’ll be calling in from Chile, and Mark from Washington, with Walter from Viña Del Mar, and Micayla from Vienna.
If we have any problems with the Zoom connection, there will be an alternative Call-in-Link posted on this event page in real time, within Protected content of the start time of this event. Just click on it and you are in.
See you soon!
