Concert De Gala “Gershwin Meets Williams”

Smilla Wolff, pianiste et trompettiste eschoise, nous fait revivre l'infatigable enthousiasme de George Gershwin, immense compositeur américain des années 20. La jeune musicienne récompensée en Protected content le Prix de la Musique du Rotary Club d'Esch,interprétera ses géniales partitions, tirées notamment de la comédie musicale " An American in Paris".
En seconde partie de soirée, l'Orchestre de l'Harmonie municipale d'Esch/Alzette proposera d'autres Chefs-d'oeuvre musicaux du cinéma avec les compositions de John Williams (issus des films Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park et E.T.) accompagnée d'une projection cinématographique.
Smilla Wolff, a pianist and trumpetist from Esch, makes us experience again the tireless enthusiasm of George Gershwin, the prodigious American composer of the Protected content . The young musician, who was awarded the Music prize from Esch’s Rotary Club in Protected content , will interpret his brilliant scores, notably those from the An American in Paris musical.
In the second half of the evening, the Orchestre de l’Harmonie municipale will be performing other musical masterpieces with compositions by John Williams, accompanied by a projection.
