Guided Tour of Art Exhibition
Between then and now
Join this special guided visit to deepen your understanding of the exhibition, its themes and its making and to encounter Adams’ work through the curatorial vision that shaped it.Moving through the exhibition, the curator will guide you across monumental tapestries woven from everyday materials – beads, chains, rope, ribbon – and into the immersive installation created from the artist’s dance prints. She will offer insight into how Adams’ personal memories, shaped by apartheid-era South Africa, inform the emotional and physical landscapes of his work, as well as the healing role of movement and communal making.
Afterwards, you can learn/practise Pétanque in the field next to Mudam, if you wish.
