Paint With Purpose: A Batik Experience
Dear KL Changemakers,
Join us as we 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 at a meaningful batik painting session where creativity meets impact! In this hands-on activity, volunteers will design, draw and paint their very own batik artwork — 𝙣𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙, just a willingness to create & have fun.
More than an art workshop, this session is also a fundraiser in support of Dignity for Children Foundation’s “Help 1,021 Students Receive Nutritious Meals!” initiative. Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that provides holistic care and education for urban poor children in Kuala Lumpur.
Every school day, nearly 1,021 students depend on Dignity for a nutritious meal - giving them the energy to focus, learn and grow. These meals are more than food on a plate; they are a foundation for education, health and dignity. Let's help them cover the cost of ingredients for balanced meals that keep a child nourished and ready to learn.
