World Play Day 2026 - Komuniti Berdaya (Empowered Community)

Dear KL Changemakers, 💖

In conjunction with the World Play Day, join us at the Komuniti Berdaya event, a community carnival dedicated to empowering the residents of Flat Danau Kota through unity, collaboration, and community ownership.

This family-friendly event will feature interactive game booths, children's activities, community engagement programmes, as well as service booths offering basic health and dental screenings.

As a volunteer, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for participants while supporting meaningful community connections.

A tentative programme schedule will be shared to confirmed volunteers. 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐌.

𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝. Confirmation will be on 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞-𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬.

‼️𝙍𝙎𝙑𝙋'𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙡𝙤𝙩. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢.‼️

Volunteer responsibilities may include managing games and activities, registration and welcoming participants, crowd control & safety, assisting children and families, and providing general event support. Volunteers will be assigned in teams of 2–3 per booth & guided throughout the event.

Each volunteer will also receive RM10 food vouchers to enjoy delicious food prepared by local community parents.
