Dignity for Children Foundation - Tour & Lunch Outing

Dear KL Changemakers,

This July, join us for a meaningful afternoon of good food, great company, and a chance to see how education is transforming lives in Kuala Lumpur.

Held in conjunction with World Youth Skills Day Protected content , this outing highlights the importance of equipping young people with practical skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and a brighter future.

We'll start with lunch at 𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐗 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, a social enterprise café where youth from underprivileged and refugee communities gain hands-on hospitality experience. Every meal supports skills training, while profits help fund education for over 2,000 children annually. The café is also pork- and alcohol-free.

After lunch, we'll take Dignity for Children's 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 (RM25/pax). This 20-minute tour explores three student-run enterprises - eat X, cut X, and shop X - where students develop skills in hospitality, hairdressing, design, sewing, woodworking, and entrepreneurship. You'll gain insight into Dignity's unique approach to education and empowerment.
