A team of science fans, art aficionados and technophiles, who love nothing more than to talk nerdy to you. At Eight Easy Pieces, our mediators will present a series of short talks — not about our current exhibition, but about the science they like to read about and do in their spare time. It's one hour of fast-paced talks.
Come along and listen to our mediators wax lyrical about scientific musings. Featuring: Mark, Aleksandra, Fionn, Stephen, Rachel, Grace, Catrina and Corrin. Flying in the face of physicists work on the theory of a multiverse.


The concept of Eight Easy Pieces comes from a famous lecture series given by physicist Richard Feynman at Caltech in the Protected content . These lectures became so popular with his fame that members of the public began trying to sit in on his classes. With this in mind, he eventually published a book in Protected content Six Easy Pieces comprising of his lecture series, with the intention that it could be understood by the layman.

Then came along EIGHT EASY PIECES, by Protected content : a series of eight-minute talks from eight mediators based on their fields of interest, or something that piques their curiosity, and is open to the public to come and see. Come along and listen to our mediators wax lyrical about scientific musings.
