Feldsee: a Black Forest Hike
If you too happen to have Friday off, would you be up for a refreshing Black Forest hike, away from the heat waves that are starting to sweep over Basel and Freiburg? Let's head to the tallest Protected content mountain in the region, Mt Feldberg, home to the oldest and largest natural park in Baden Württemberg, and have a walk from the Bismarck memorial to the circular Feldsee lake. Hike offers plenty of lookout points and follows a C shaped path, amidst beech and pine trees, waterfalls and quaint rock formations; it should take around 2,5 hours and is described at:
