An Evening of Music Inspired by The Calder-Picasso Exhibit
The concert will start at 7:30pm. Come enjoy an evening of great music and friends!

Musicians from Da Camera Young Artists present musical equivalents to the artistic explorations of two giants in 20th-century art: Alexander Calder and Pablo Picasso. Admission is free.
Works of art from the recent Calder-Picasso exhibition, as well as selections by the artists in the MFAH collections, are accessible via QR codes in the concert program. This event has been rescheduled from January 27. The first concert in the two-part series was presented January 20.

• George Antheil: “Piano Sonata No. 2 The Airplane”
• Ruth Crawford Seeger: “String Quartet”
The performance takes place on the lower level of the Kinder Building. On Thursdays, the Museum is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and general admission is free. Advance timed tickets are recommended.
