Exhibition " Chloe Akrithaki: Encounters "

The exhibition showcases photographs of Chloe Akrithaki's encounters with visual artists, capturing them in their studios and other places familiar to them.
In Protected content , Chloe Akrithaki photographed her father in his studio in Protected content . This was her inaugural attempt at capturing an artist during the act of creation within their space, feeling free and alone, forgetting the presence of the camera and the photographer.
Years later, Chloe Akrithaki's “Encounters” is an ongoing project that explores the mutual relationship of trust, acceptance, and freedom between artists. Her camera captures the energy and essence of these encounters through a selection of photographs that reflect the diversity of the artists and their works. The only constant throughout is Akrithaki's commitment to providing genuine and meaningful images to the viewer. Her photographs convey a naturalness of communication, allowing viewers to feel connected to the artists and their creative processes. In these, the artists compete in importance with objects, the space, a movement, an expression, an uncontrolled shade and other unexpectable circumstances or trivial items that we consider insignificant, while they participate in the formation of a favorable climate for the creation of a work of art and the warmth of a friendly meeting.
