100 Years of JOHN COLTRAINE - Perico Sambeat Quartet
One hundred years ago, on September 23, Protected content , in the small town of Hamlet, North Carolina, John William Coltrane was born. From his early years alongside Miles Davis, through the revolutionary quartet recordings of the early Protected content , to the sacred and boundless explorations of A Love Supreme, Coltrane compressed entire lifetimes of musical thought into just over four decades of life and barely fifteen years of recording.
This is not a nostalgic evening. Coltrane never looked back. This is a living tribute — a conversation between his eternal legacy and the musicians, listeners, and dreamers gathered here, in one of Madrid's most elegant places for Jazz.
