The Allapattah-based cumbia collective burst forth in Protected content , into the world with rocking house parties, then club nights, and now on to national tours and festivals. The sound of cumbia fuels the engine, contributing to the resurgence of the beloved Latin American folk music for fresh audiences. Through their music and activism, the group (made up of veterans of Miami's popular Latin-funk-rock groups) honors the roots of cumbia, celebrates the pan-Latin culture of our city, and incorporates a cosmopolitan sense that draws in new fans.

The municipal parking lot at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue is across the street from the Bandshell. Please note it is no longer free - it is $2/hour! Come early and if parking is full, please look for street parking
